This collection consists of two areas of historical interest to Bishop - the Civil War and the Pony Express Route. Of the former, Bishop collected the military records of Thomas M. Littleton, a Civil War veteran and a lieutenant in the Wyoming National Guard. The other, more extensive collection pertains to the Pony Express Centennial.
