Welcome to the WyoCOMET
Use WyoCOMET to explore finding aids from the Wyoming State Archives.
Finding aids are descriptions of archival collections that help researchers identify materials relevant to their topics.
The guides include collections and government records groups, but NOT comprehensive listings of photographs, maps, and oral histories. This site can NOT be used to search a full listing of names in all the documents in the archives.
Ask an Archivist
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Submit a question for one-on-one assistance from an archivist.
Requesting Materials
To view materials, please contact wyarchive@wyo.gov or call 307-777-7826 Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm MST. Current fees can be found here.
Please note that viewing materials will require visiting the WSA reading room in most cases. Digital copies of some materials are linked within the collection guides.
We Welcome Your Feedback!
WyoCOMET is currently in beta testing and would appreciate your opinions and suggestions. Are you having trouble with the site or find a bug? We want to hear about that, too. Take the six question survey (1-3 minutes).
