Scope and Contents
Correspondence about general and agency audit procedures, practices, and policies, board issues, legislation, and general political issues. Most letters are routine acknowledgments and notices for claims against the state. Occasionally there is a discussion on assessment valuations, county insurance companies. Special topics include Mammoth Hot Springs/Yellowstone National Park activities (1884 - 1885), Territorial Asylum (1885 - 1887), appointments by Governor Nellie Tayloe Ross, University of Wyoming, grazing fee/land issues, and public lands.
