Scope and Content
The Wyoming State Auditor is the chief accountant and payroll officer; promoting the State of Wyoming's financial accountability and assisting agencies to account for public money responsibly and promoting transparency in the State's finances. Archived records include financial records such as ledgers, journals, statements; as well as administrative files, general correspondence, equalization, insurance, expense and fund examination records.

Access to individuals personnel records and security microfilm rolls is restricted. Otherwise, there are no known access restrictions on the materials for research purposes, and the collection is open to the public.
