Letter and postcard addressed to the postmaster at Egbert, Wyoming from Dan W. Egbert of Batavia, Illinois. Letter briefly describes a confrontation with Indians near Hillsdale in 1868, and some brief observations about the area. The card advises the Egbert residents to grow sugar beets.
