Record of arrests and citations. Information includes date, name of individual, charge, name of officer, amount of fine and bond, and remarks on disposition. In 1922, docket numbers were also recorded.

Names in the police register may be duplicated in jail register.

Record of arrests and prisoners in the City Jail. Information includes date, name, cause of arrest, date of trial, name of police justice, fine and/or days served, name of arresting officer, date of discharge and remarks on discharge.

In Volume 1 there are remarks after some names about an individual's occupation or race. Volume 5 is a listing of persons arrested and may note date, time served, name of arresting officer, prisoner number, and remarks on discharge.

Daily reports on calls, crimes and investigations. Information also includes date, time and name of officer. Some entries are stamped closed or solved. Back of volumes may contain rosters of policemen in regard to special events (relief contributions, policeman's dance, badge numbers, police for Frontier Days). Some binders are in poor shape.

Reports on traffic accidents. Entries give name of officer, name of all parties, date, place, time and history of the accident. Hand drawn pictures accompany the statements.

Record of cash received from fines, taxes, tax sales, licenses, and burial permits. Information includes date, name, amount, and receipt or warrants number and any remarks relevant to an individual or license. Volume 11 is solely for fines and bonds.
