Series IV. Proclamations, 1905-1910
Proclamations by Governor Brooks and governors of other states and related correspondence. A miscellaneous file at the beginning of the series includes a proclamation by the governor of Oklahoma on the election of U. S. senators by direct vote, a proclamation by the Governor of South Dakota con-cerning the shipment of sheep, and a proclamation by the Governor of Kansas about the Tenth National Good Roads Convention held in Topeka.

General correspondence and records dealing with topics ranging from Dry Farming and livestock to conventions and expeditions, from the Hanna Mine Disaster to State Agency reports and correspondence and from Spanish-American War medals to legislative affairs. Pardon, requisitions and extradition records take up the bulk of the collection.
Sub-Series IV. State Land Commission Minutes, 1907-1910
Minutes of meetings of the State Board of Land Commissioners including arid land minutes and School Land Commissioners minutes. Subjects of the meetings include filings of proofs, right of ways, leases, patents, contracts with development companies, and agreements between development companies and settlers.
President Theodore Roosevelt Tour Correspondence, 1910
Incoming and outgoing correspondence concerning President Roosevelt's tour across several midwestern and western states from August 23 to September 11, 1910. The President spent a full day in Cheyenne and much of the correspondence deals with plans for his stay.
Sacajawea Monument Correspondence, 1906-1907
Incoming correspondence regarding the erection of a monument to Sacajawea. Correspondence concerns a bill for the establishment of a monument and verification through testimony to authenticate the vicinity of her burial. Included with the correspondence are brief biographical sketches of her life and information on Lewis and Clark expedition.

Incoming and outgoing correspondence on the subject of woman suffrage, consisting mainly of queries on the effects of woman suffrage in Wyoming and the Governor's or his secretary's responses. Also included at the beginning of the series are Wyoming Supreme Court Chief Justice Groesbeck's views on woman suffrage, and a copy of Article No. VI of the Constitution of Wyoming which outlines suffrage rights.
