Bar dockets are copies of the trial dockets for the use of the bar. Civil and criminal cases appear in the order in which they were heard in court. In a larger perspective, bar dockets record the progress of civil and criminal cases. Entries list case number, names of plaintiff and defendant, charge, and comments about the trial or proceedings. Throughout most of the volumes the remarks section is left blank or reads "trial", "passed", or "dismissed."
