Guide to the Laramie County District Court Records
Scope and Content
Laramie County District Court hears felony criminal cases, civil cases including divorce proceedings, and probate cases including settlements of estates, guardianships, involuntary hospitalizations and adoptions.
Unless noted, indexes to case files have been retained by the court. Please contact the Clerk of Court for docket numbers before requesting case files.

Historical Note
Laramie County was created by Dakota Territory and was one of the four original counties when Wyoming Territory was organized in 1867. The county seat is Cheyenne.
