Criminal trial dockets record the progress of criminal cases. Entries list case number, name of plaintiff, and charge and note the proceedings or actions taken on a specific day. Because these are daily recordings, the course of a trial may be documented over several pages or between two volumes.

Index to names in Probate appearance docket, journal, will record, bond record, letters and oaths, and inventory record. Volumes 1A and 1B are indexed only for probate journal, Volume 1. The information in Volumes A and B has been transcribed into Volumes 1 and 2.

Judge's probate docket records the progress of pro-bate cases. Entries list case number, name of pro-bated individual, name of administrator or guardian and comments about the proceedings or day's activity.

Bar dockets are copies of the trial dockets for the use of the bar. Civil and criminal cases appear in the order in which they were heard in court. In a larger perspective, bar dockets record the progress of civil and criminal cases. Entries list case number, names of plaintiff and defendant, charge, and comments about the trial or proceedings. Throughout most of the volumes the remarks section is left blank or reads "trial", "passed", or "dismissed."
