Processing Note
Reaccession of H53-59 photo album.
Original donation paperwork for H53-59 notes only a scrapbook and photo album. At some point, likely in the early 2000s, the accession number becomes associated with the St. Mark's Episcopal Church records. This may stem from the donation of the "Holy Matrimony: The Service and Certificate" for Amos Walker Barber and Amelia Kent at St. Mark's Church December 14, 1892, by Alice Barber Rawson, accessioned as H66-225, but likely consolidated at some point with H53-59. The Service book and certificate were deaccessioned and transferred to the Wyoming State Museum in 1999. Due to the large size and existing references to the church records as H53-59, the decision was made to keep the existing numbering and add an "a" to differentiate the Rawson materials. At the writing of this finding aid in 2026, the scrapbook originally accessioned in H53-59 has not been located on the shelves.
