Scope and Contents
"On Top of Wyoming" is a travel dirary about a guided fishing expedition. Gurdon Hubbard Hamilton, his wife, Helen Julia Beye Hamilton, her brother Dr. Howard Lombard Beye and Art (friend of the family) came from Chicago to Wyoming. The diary writer wrote down short blurbs about the family's experiences and reactions to Wyoming.
The family's first stop was Cody, Wyoming; then they drove 43 miles southwest to a ranch on the South Fork of the Shosone River in a small place called Valley, Wyoming.
