Series XI. Pine Bluffs Justice of the Peace, criminal docket, 1971-1975

 Series — Volume: 1

Scope and Contents

Criminal dockets provide summarizations of case proceedings. Information includes names of defendants, nature of charges, date and kind of pertinent filings, pleas, disposition, fines and court costs. Rather than record all the facts in cases, the record shows only the name of the defendant, charge, fines and court costs. Attached to each page will be case papers (traffic citations and sometimes criminal complaints) which provide additional information about the defendant and incident. Most of the cases pertain to traffic and sometimes game violations.
