This collection reflects L.C. Bishop's professional and recreational pursuits. The largest series is correspondence with, among others, Robert Carey, Paul Henderson, and Wyoming politicians, about his professional career and activities, trails and historic sites in Wyoming, the Oregon trail, the Wyoming Historical Society, the Wyoming Pioneer Society, and the development of the Pioneer Museum.
