The Board considers appeals from final administrative decisions of the Department of Revenue as well as from decisions of county boards of Equalization, and has the responsibility to equalize the assessment of all taxable property. The Board is a full-time constitutional entity comprised of three Wyoming citizens appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate.
