Scope and Contents
These journals provide a record of day-to-day proceedings, in narrative form, of civil and criminal cases held before the court. Entries for each day include cases heard (with case numbers and names of parties) and a narrative of action taken. Beginnings in volume 8 photocopies of filings are substituted for narrative statements.
Volumes 2, 4, and 5 are indexed.

Access Restrictions
The collection is open for research though some record types may be restricted. See notes in the container list.
Access is restricted to guardianships, conservatorships, involuntary hospitalizations, adoptions, paternity preceedings (order and enforcement is open), and juvenile records. Contact the Lincoln County Clerk of District Court for access to these files.
