02.04 Civil Case Files, 1913-1998
Scope and Contents
Case files contain various records from civil proceedings. Contents may include complaints, petitions, summons, subpoenas, motions, decrees, and transcripts of testimony, exhibits, and Supreme Court records.
Filings received after case files were microfilmed are filed in Separated Filings and Exhibits, including case nos. CV 6246, CV 6547, and CV 6614, and entire case nos. CV 4977 and CV 6877.

Access Restrictions
The collection is open for research though some record types may be restricted. See notes in the container list.
Access is restricted to guardianships, conservatorships, involuntary hospitalizations, adoptions, paternity preceedings (order and enforcement is open), and juvenile records. Contact the Lincoln County Clerk of District Court for access to these files.
