Gatchell, Big Horn County Sheriff Felix Alston, and others regarding WNG participation in the protection of those stockmen involved in the Tensleep murder raid, near the town of Tensleep in the Big Horn Basin. In April, 1909, approximately fifteen masked men attacked a sheep camp on Spring Creek [near Tensleep], cold bloodedly killing three sheep men. One of the witnesses committed suicide, but not before leaving correspondence...
