Correspondence and administrative files regarding procedures, transfer of records forms, records disposition, committee agendas, and records inventories.

Much of the correspondence in this record group was initiated by either Lola Homsher, Department Director or Katherine Halverson, Division Head, and deals with the development of county monument/marker sites. Site development involved interaction between the Department and various historical societies, marker and monument construction vendors, highway department personnel, county commissioners, and community volunteers.
