In 1922 and again in 1927, the Board of Trustees of School District No. 1 elected a Superintendent of Schools. Some of the applications and correspondence is from 1922, when J. C. Knode of Greybull was elected, but most of the applications and correspondence is from 1927. Albert A. Slade, formerly Superintendent in Casper, was elected to the Laramie Superintendency.
