Small leather bound notebook with information on the organization of the 4th Army Corps, 9th Army Corps, and 23 Army Corps. Also listed are the "Post at Knoxville," the District of S.W. Kentucky, the District of Eastern Kentucky, and the District of Middle Tennessee. Officers were recorded. A small piece of paper, signed by Campbell, was folded in a pocket of the notebook. The paper features outlines of the organization of the Department of North Carolina and the 23rd Army Corps.
