Scope and Contents

One inch to 6000 feet. 49 X 69 inches. Apparently used as a base map by E. L. Crabb in 1931 to show approved stock driveways and those under application. Indicates township, range, section, and tract numbers; an explanation of tract subdivisions is given. Also indicates drainage, roads, and place names such as Chatham, Neiber, Worland, Randel, Mott, Durkee, Norwood, Tensleep, Hidden Dome Gas Field, Flagstaff Ranch, X Ranch, Sheild Ranch, Browey Ranch, and "Capt. Bates Battle Ground."

Shows the Hanover District boundary, commissioner district boundaries, acreage of water rights, Hanover District Canal, other canals, Chicago, Burlington and Quincy RailĀ¬road, and names of landowners. Includes an inset map of Worland at a scale of one inch to 2000 feet.

Scope and Contents

Scale one inch to 1500 feet. Dimensions 125 X 51 inches. The apparent purpose of this map was to show appropriated water rights. It also shows canals, roads, railroads, drainage, landowners, section numbers, county lines, and place names from Township 45 North to Township 49 North, and from Range 92 to Range 95 West. Place names include the towns of Chatham, Neiber, Colter, Geddis, Worland, Randel, Mott, Durkee, and Rairden.
