Civil, criminal, small claims dockets, case files, case papers, marriage records, and monthly reports from the Niobrara County Justice of the Peace Courts. Cases heard by the Justice of the Peace Courts involved misdemeanor charges. Felony cases were either dismissed or bound over to the County District Court.

The collection is divided into four series including: Keeline Justice of the Peace records, Lusk Justice of the Peace records, Manville Justice of the Peace records, and Van Tassell Justice of the Peace records

Records were transferred in multiple groups from 1982 through 1994
