Guide to the Crook County District Court Records
Scope and Content
Crook County District Court hears felony criminal cases, civil cases including divorce proceedings, and probate cases including settlements of estates, guardianships, involuntary hospitalizations and adoptions.
Unless noted, indexes to case files have been retained by the court. Please contact the Clerk of Court for docket numbers before requesting case files.

Crook County was created in 1875 from portions of Albany and Laramie Counties and organized in 1885. The county seat is Sundance.
