Guide to the Wagner Photograph Collection
Scope and Content
The Wagner Photograph Collection contains 69 glass plate negatives. Subjects include Cheyenne street scenes and buildings and Fort D.A. Russell. Of special note are four images of Tom Horn in jail just prior to his execution in 1903.
Though few of the negatives are marked, those that are bear the name of William G. Walker, a prominent photographer in Cheyenne between the 1880s-1935. Many of the unidentified images may also have been taken by Walker.
