The collection consists of Bell's research on Calamity Jane and the marketing efforts of her two-woman show. Records include general research, notes, articles, photographs, flyers, and correspondence. Of special interest are her critiques of sources, research on relatives, and personal correspondence from inidviduals claiming to be Calamity Jane's descendants.
