Biographical / Historical
Organized in 1890, the Daughters of the American Revolution is a patriotic organization for women. The Cheyenne Chapter was organized in 1896. The DAR sponsors programs about the US Constitution, American flag, citizenship, and American patriotism in general. It also promotes better understanding of American history and government and safeguarding historical sites and genealogical records
