The bulk of the collection consists of minutes of meetings of the board and general membership, and records documenting the annual Christmas House fundraising event, the Community Improvement Program, and projects and committee work
The Club’s goal was “to stimulate intellectual development and to promote good fellowship among the members.” The collection also includes records accessioned under H2012-59, H2013-22, H2013-29, H2014-5, H2014-34, and H2021-3

Biographical / Historical
The Women’s Civic League of Cheyenne was organized in 1948. It supports community improvement through grants, scholarships, and service projects. The League’s Christmas House program funds various civic projects. The League has been a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, a national organization, since its inception
