Guide to the Ann Francis King Collection
Scope and Content
Records of the Francis family, owners of a ranch on North Crow Creek west of Cheyenne. The bulk of the records date from 1894 to 1939. Through John Arthur Francis’ marriage with Alice Yoder in 1934, the Francis family had ties to another prominent ranching family in southeastern Wyoming. The collection documents the business, lifestyle, and concerns of a successful early 20th century ranching family in Laramie County. Francis family biographical information is included in the collection
