Guide to the Henry Sherard Collection
Scope and Content
The collection includes a saloon ledger used by Henry Sherard, possibly at the now defunct town of Andersonville, near present day Thermopolis. A “George Casedy” is listed as a customer. Also included are several pieces of personal correspondence and receipts, 1903-1920
Two articles, about the Big Horn Basin and Butch Cassidy, with references to Sherard’s saloon are included in the collection
