Biographical / Historical
Frederick and Christine Prahl emigrated from Denmark and settled in Laramie in 1869. By 1871 they had opened a granary and general store. Their son, Harry, founded Laramie Drug in 1915, and members of the family continued in the pharmaceutical business. See copy of newspaper clipping concerning Prahl family history in the collection
