The collection consists of 11 certificates awarded to Dr. Zuckerman, and a 1980 newspaper article about Cheyenne’s Memorial Hospital Nursing School. Dr. Zuckerman’s wife, Ruth, graduated from the school in 1928

Biographical / Historical
Samuel S. Zuckerman, 1902–1984, graduated from the University of Colorado with an M.D. in 1934, and moved to Cheyenne shortly thereafter. He was the first pathologist in Wyoming, with labs in Cheyenne and Casper. Dr. Zuckerman was also the first radiologist in Wyoming. He served as a physician in the Pacific Theater during World War II
