Scope and Content
1934 correspondence from the Edison Institute concerning, and refuting, claim that Cheyenne was the first U.S. city to use electric lighting. In a 1940 letter, Fred E. Warren of Cheyenne reports that a former employee of the lighting company said Cheyenne had the first central battery lighting plant in the U.S.
