Scope and Content

Reminiscences of Aline Drozdowski Kawulok, a native of Poland who served in the Polish underground during World War II and spent time in a German prison camp. Married in 1946, Aline and her husband, Anthony Kawulok, came to the United States in 1947, initially living in Greybull where Anthony’s father lived. The Kawulok family spent 17 years in Wyoming, living in Greybull, Sheridan, and Casper

The collection also includes copies of newspaper articles pertaining to the Kawuloks’ experiences during the war and the family’s experiences in Wyoming and Colorado. Some scanned photographs are also included
