Scope and Content

The collection includes a biography of Mr. and Mrs. Myre by Carol Fuller, their daughter. The manuscript includes information about family life and the town of Greybull during the Myre’s residence there, 1922-1951

Also included are a transcription of a newspaper article about the play “As You Like it,” in which Mrs. Myre acted (1931), a copy of a newspaper article about Dr. Myre’s retirement (1951), and scanned photographs of the Myres, St. Luke’s Hospital in Greybull, two hospital employees, and the cast of “As You Like It”

Biographical / Historical

Dr. Stanley and Helena Hannen Myre moved to Greybull from Minnesota in 1922 after Doctor Myre contracted with the CB&Q Railroad to serve the town. He practiced medicine there until retiring in 1951
