Guide to the Kinnison Family Collection
Scope and Content
History of the Kinnison family of southeastern Wyoming. A narrative recounts the origins of the family name in England around the year 1,000 and continues to the family’s American genealogy. Copies include genealogy forms, obituaries, scanned photographs, news clippings, and documents. Also included is a certificate for a memorial tree at Warren Air Force Base for Willis Leroy Kinnison, and a related inscribed metal plate
The collection also includes a two page list of Higday family members with dates of birth from 1893 to 1920, and a certificate of appreciation and card documenting Evelyn Kay Maulfair’s membership in the World War II Memorial society
