Copy of report to the Adjutant General of the United States by Thomas Wilhelm, Captain 8th Infantry, Mustering Officer. The report lists members of 4 companies of infantry enrolled in Wyoming. Names are recorded under rank. Names of troops discharged, wounded, and killed are included. Discharge dates are recorded
The report also lists members of 12 troops of volunteer cavalry, including 7 from Wyoming, most of which were mustered at Fort D. A. Russell. Names are recorded under rank
The report records the immediate destinations for the troops. The Mustering Officer also offered opinions on the mustering process, the recruits, the practice of electing officers, and Wyoming Governor William A. Richards
