Guide to the Fred E. Warren Speech Collection
Scope and Content
The typed speech that comprises this collection describes sheep ranching in Wyoming. It was found in the files of a Hudson, Colorado resident. The date of and occasion for the speech are not recorded. Only an inscription at the top of the first page attributes the speech to Fred Warren. However, Mr. Warren was a nationally known ranchman and there is no reason to dispute the recorded identity of the speaker
The donated copy of the speech was on deteriorating onionskin paper. The text was copied onto acid free paper, and the onionskin copy was destroyed
