Guide to the Cheyenne Parent Teacher Association Council Collection

 Collection — Box: 689
Identifier: H2002-57

Scope and Content

“Patrons Report on Schools,” a four page publication produced by the Cheyenne Parent Teacher Association Council. This was apparently the first issue of a planned newsletter type publication to inform Cheyenne families about education issues in general and issues concerning Laramie County School District Number 1. Many of the articles are somewhat philosophical in nature and support community and public education. Two articles deal with possible taxes to increase income to the state. Another piece seeks to correct perceived misunderstandings about school district operations
