Biographical / Historical
J.E. Stimson was a Cheyenne based photographer who contracted with the Union Pacific Railroad to photograph scenes in Wyoming and the western United States. He was also hired by the State of Wyoming to produce hand-tinted photographs of Wyoming scenery for the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis in 1904
