A grassroots organization active from the late 1980s to the early 1990s, the Wyoming Against MX strove to prohibit the placement of MX missiles . Later, the group changed its name (Western Solidarity and later Wyoming Peace Initiatives) and broadened its focus to include nuclear testing and proliferation
