Scope and Content

This collection contains materials spanning four decades [1950s-1990s] and ranging from the local chapter to the international parent organization. Minutes, rosters, scrapbooks, conference brochures, and national publications are included along with miscellaneous memorabilia. It is organized into four political subgroups and alphabetized by subject matter within each group

Biographical / Historical

The Cheyenne Chapter of Quota Club was organized ca. 1949 and disbanded in the early 1990s due to declining membership. Its parent organization, Quota International, was founded by Wanda Frey Joiner in 1902, and is currently headquartered in Washington, D.C. Quota Club is a non-profit, nonpartisan, nonsectarian organization of executive business and professional women dedicated to a common cause: service to those who need help. Organized in nine countries, the Club links members of all ages, occupations and nationalities in a world-wide sisterhood of service and friendship
