Scope and Content

The Feick records consist of the 1887 correspondence of George Feick while in Cheyenne during the construction of the Wyoming state capitol building. The letters are particularly revealing about the process and progress of construction and about notable individuals in Cheyenne's political and social circles. The collection also includes a 1983 family history entitled "Building America: A History of the Feick Family" by Anita Gundlach Feick.
