Biographical / Historical

William Frackelton was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 24, 1870. He graduated from dental school in 1891, and practiced dentistry in Milwaukee and Chicago before moving west in 1893. After a brief stay in Sundance, Dr. Frackelton settled in Sheridan. He regularly traveled to other communities in northern Wyoming, assisting residents in need of dental care. He was considered a civic leader in Sheridan, and continued his dental practice there until illness ended his career in 1943. Dr. Frackelton died December 28, 1943
