The collection contains correspondence, speeches and articles about Wyoming agricultural, economic and political issues, and Myers’ family life. Among his correspondents are western cattlemen, Russell Thorp, Leslie Miller, and Joseph O’Mahoney. The collection also contains letters to and from his children, particularly his daughter Marion.

Biographical / Historical

Charles A. Myers was a rancher in Uinta County. A democrat, he served in the state senate from 1917 to 1932, but remained politically active throughout his life. He managed Myers Land and Livestock Company, was very involved in state and national agricultural issues, and was an influential member of the Wyoming Stock Growers Association.
