Guide to the Torrey's Rough Rider Collection
Scope and Content
Book Torrey’s Rough Riders, Historical and Biographical Souvenir of the Second United States Volunteer Cavalry, about the Spanish-American War cavalry unit commanded by Colonel Jay L. Torrey. The unit included several Wyoming troops as well as troops from other western states. They were mustered at Fort D. A. Russell, Wyoming. The book includes biographical information on officers and rosters of troops.
