This unique collection of memorabilia was amassed during William DeVere's affiliation with the Cheyenne Little Theatre and includes performance programs, scrapbooks, photographs and newspaper articles relating to the theatre.

Biographical Note
William F. DeVere, Sr., a Cheyenne businessman and Kiwanis Club member, was instrumental in the early development of the Cheyenne Little Theatre. Organized in 1930, the Cheyenne Little Theatre continues to be one of the oldest amateur theater groups in the United States. Mr. DeVere=s professional theatrical experience allowed him to give unstintingly of his time and talent to the theater. Beginning with the first one-act program in 1930, he directed at least one play a season and played a myriad of parts until his death in 1954.
