Scope and Content
Newspaper clippings, programs, handbills, etc. for various dedication ceremonies, musical programs, and groups, movies, plays, and art exhibitions. Material primarily relates to Cheyenne but includes some material from the University of Wyoming, Laramie, and the Whitney Art Gallery, Cody. Organizations and events represented in the material include: The Cooperative Concert Association, The Community Concert Association, St. Mark's Church Cheyenne dedication services 1951, Lincoln Theatre Cheyenne premiere program 1955, Cheyenne Communtiy Chorus, Cheyenne Symphony and Choral Society, Cheyenne Barbershop Quartet Singers programs, Cheyenne 12th Nite Dramatic Club, Cheyenne Music Study Group, Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra, Cheyenne East High School dedication 1961, Cheyenne Federal Building dedicatio 1965, Whitney Gallery (Cody, Wyo.) western art exhibit 1962.

Biographical Note
William Robert "Bill" Dubois III was born in 1936 and was the grandson of Cheyenne architect William Dubois II, and great grandson ofCheyenne businessman E.A. Slack and great great grandson of Esther Hobart Morris on his mother's side. Dubois was active in local theater and musical groups and a supporters of community arts programs. He died in 2021 and is buried in Cheyenne.
