Biographical Note

Anthony Charles Campbell was born in Chester County, Pennsylvania. He studied law and practiced for several years in Pennsylvania before moving to Omaha, Nebraska in 1881. In 1882, Campbell moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming. Campbell was appointed US Attorney for Wyoming Territory in 1885 and served until 1890, and also served as the president of the Wyoming Bar Association and counsel for the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad.
