Guide to the Hot Springs County District Court Records
Scope and Content
Hot Springs County District Court hears felony criminal cases, civil cases including divorce proceedings, and probate cases including settlements of estates, guardianships, and widow's pensions. Also included in this series are Coroner's inquests and petitions for naturalization

Historical Note
Hot Springs County was created in 1911 from portions of Big Horn, Fremont and Park Counties and organized in 1913. The county seat is Thermopolis.
